Rifle, Ammunition and Optics

❏ Caliber: 6.5, 270, 7mm, 300 WSM, 300 Win Mag.

❏ Rifle: I recommend light weight mountain rifles such as Kimber Montana or Sako Finlight, or any of the many custom options available.

❏ Rifle Scope: I recommend high quality optics such as Leupold VX3 2.5-8.5 x 33mm, VX3 4.5-14x40 or VX6 2-12 x 42mm

❏ Binoculars: Swarovski, Leica, Zeiss – 10x42 are best. Use only the best quality optics

❏ Bullet type: NO TARGET BULLETS!! Use only high quality hunting bullets! I prefer Barnes TTSX or Barnes LRX by far. Swift A-Frame, Nosler Accubond are also good. Avoid Berger or ballistic tip bullets

Practice with your rifle from field positions, not just the bench! Practice, practice, practice.
